Your usage. Your limit.
One membership. Pay for what you use.
Our planned pricing is one You.one membership. No subscription tiers. No minimum bill. Your cap is a limit you set, not an amount you promise to spend. The default monthly cap is $50; you can choose one as low as $20.
Ava is your AI assistant for life and work. Your Board—also called Superboard—holds the situations you’re working on. Each Card contains the work: the conversation, files, and next step. In the You.one Beta, Calendar will hold your appointments, and Comms will bring mail, messages, and calls together. It’s one product, with the same Ava throughout.
A limit you control
There is no base subscription charge. We won’t raise your cap without your approval. Under the planned billing model, your usage for the period—including applicable tax and mandatory charges—stays within your cap. At the limit, Ava stops starting new work that would add to your bill; manual work, reading, search, and export remain available. You can raise your cap when you want her to continue.
Where you’ll see your tab
During your trial and paid use, you’ll find Usage & Payments under your profile picture: your running total, a simple breakdown, and when it was last updated. The tab updates through the day, so you can see your spending before the month ends.
During the trial, ordinary use shows what it would have cost, with $0 due—not a bill to pay. Large initial imports appear separately under Connections, as explained below.
Your report, in plain language
Your report explains the work in ordinary language. You don’t need to understand tokens, model names, or cloud infrastructure.
- Talking with Ava
- Talk through a situation, ask a question, or compare your options.
- Creating things
- A document, an image, or something else you ask Ava to make.
- Calls
- In Beta, calls will live in Comms and link to the Card they’re about. Ava will call with your OK; a booking will wait for your approval of the shop, time, and price.
- Email and messages
- In Comms, draft a reply, review an email, or work through a message with Ava. A private message stays private unless you say yes to sharing it.
- Connections
- Bring information from connected accounts into You.one and keep it up to date.
- Keeping your work available
- Storing your Cards, conversations, and files, and running the services that keep them available. Your report can include this work; reaching your cap does not take away reading, search, or export.
These are examples of the work you’ll see explained—not separate plans or things you need to buy.
Your trial report shows what was free
After Beta, you’ll get a full 30-day trial once you’ve completed enrollment, confirmed your cap, accepted the Terms, and verified a payment method.
The trial report shows what you did and what ordinary trial use would have cost. That use is free: $0 due, and not billed later. The Billing section of the Terms will explain the trial conditions before you enroll.
Large initial imports from connected accounts are handled separately from ordinary trial use. See how Connections works below.
Joining the waitlist does not start a trial or authorize a charge.
Review the report. Then pay.
The monthly rhythm is simple: set your cap, check your tab as you go, then review the Monthly Report before payment.
Your Monthly Report will arrive in the app and by email five calendar days before the 1st. Payment is due on the 1st. If a report arrives late, payment will wait so you still have five calendar days to review it.
Each report covers usage since the previous report cutoff. Usage from the new cutoff onward goes into your next report—not an extra charge added to the report you’re reviewing.
With your authorization, a saved card automatically pays the remaining undisputed balance on the due date. With Venmo, you approve and pay during the review window. We will not silently fall back to a saved card.
Enrollment will verify your payment method with a temporary $1 authorization or charge. That $1 is released or fully refunded; it is not a membership payment. The payment options available at enrollment will have passed our checks.
Connect Google in one tap
The Google connection is designed as one tap in You.one, followed by Google’s own account and permission steps. A large initial import is separate from ordinary trial usage: its total will appear under Connections, spread across later paid periods within your cap.
There is no separate import quote, purchase, or second confirmation in You.one. The import is part of connecting your account, not another product you buy. The later paid-period treatment also applies if the import happens during your trial. Ordinary trial use remains free and is not billed later. The Billing section of the Terms will explain how this works before enrollment opens.
Something looks wrong? Dispute a charge.
The planned Monthly Report and Usage & Payments screen will have a clear “Dispute a charge” button. You’ll be able to submit the issue and see its status in the app.
Joshua, our Founder, will review it with the team and explain the outcome. A dispute is not an automatic refund: errors will be corrected, and a valid charge stands.
The affected amount will be held from collection during review. Other valid, undisputed charges remain payable. We’ll link to the dispute page here when it’s ready; paid enrollment is not open yet.
Why usage, instead of a seat plan?
Like electricity, AI work varies with how much you use it. Some months you may use very little; others, much more. We think charging for that work is fairer than a fixed seat plan that stays the same every month.
It won’t be cheaper for every person in every month. Your visible tab and your own cap keep you in control. This is our starting model, not the last word on pricing.
Ask a question or share feedbackBilling details before paid enrollment
This is the plain-language explanation of our planned pricing. Before paid enrollment opens, the Billing section inside the Terms of Service will cover usage, connections, payments, disputes, and cancellation. Privacy remains a separate document.
